Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Dean Smith, 87, of Pell City were Monday, January 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Joel Maxwell officiated. Burial was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City. Mrs. Smith died Friday, January 20, 2012, in Pell City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rooster Smith; and her granddaughter, Jeanna Gail Smith. She is survived by sons, Robert Lee (Cathy) Smith, William P. (Tracy) Smith, Jackie Smith and Roy M. (Lasonna) Smith; grandchildren, Charlotte Warrender, Robin Layfield, Alicia Dawn Howard, Pamela St. John, Brandon Smith, Caleb Smith, Tina Johnston, Tracy Mason, Danielle Smith, Johnathan Smith, Richard Smith, Tara Jo McCay and Holly Ramsey; and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Andy Layfield, Chris Howard, Darren Hallman, Jimmy Thrift, Brandon Smith and Harold McCay. Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.
