JOHNSON William S. Johnson, known as “POP” to family and “Mr. Bill” to others departed this life on Thursday July 28, 2005. He is survived by his children, William S. Johnson III, Wilfred M. Johnson, Rondell M. Johnson, Renita Davis, Chris Smith, Gersell Brice (Randolph); siblings, Sarah Johnson, Roosevelt Williams (Lynda), Paul Williams (Marvette), Martha Morgan (Leonard), Rosemary Ricks (Tommie), Sheila Johnson, David Boston, Rosetta Farmer (Mose), Gayle Taylor and Evelyn Tukes (Allen); a host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends. His extended family includes Aleathia Polk, his fiancŽ and long time companion. The memorial will be held at Life Temple of Deliverance Church, 2725 N. Laura Street at 11:00 a.m. on August 6, 2005.
