William R. Ross was born Oct. 18, 1909, in Cherokee, Ala., and died Nov. 11, 2001, in Austin, Texas.He was the last survivor of five brothers and two sisters. He remained a member of First Methodist Church in Sheffield, Ala.His ashes will be returned for burial at the family burial site after a graveside service Dec. 1.He is survived by nieces and nephews, Mary Baker of Sheffield, Ala., Ann Ross Eldridge, Cedar Park, Texas, Dan H.
