PETERSON, William R., age 85, of Lake Placid died Mon., Feb. 9, 2004 in the Florida Hospital in Lake Placid. Bill was a born in Rockford, IL. He came to Lake Placid in 1982 from Long Island, NY where he retired from General Motors. Bill was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was an avid golfer & was a member of the Placid Lakes Country Club. Bill is survived by his wife, Eloise (DeSilva) Peterson; son, James W. (Susan) of Glen Head, NY; & daughter, Louise O. (Larry) VanDusseldorp of Hollywood, FL. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren. Arrangements under care of SCOTT FUNERAL HOME
