William P. Mackof BinghamtonWilliam P. Mack, 64, of Binghamton, died suddenly Thursday morning, June 16, 2005, at Binghamton General Hospital. He is survived by four sons, William Mack, Maple Shade, N.J., Timothy Mack, Oaklyn, N.J., Jeffrey Mack, Magnolia, N.J., David Mack, Philadelphia, Pa.; five grandchildren; a very dear friend, Kathleen Blackman, Binghamton. Bill was an avid sportsman and walker. He loved nature. He was a quiet, no-fuss man who liked fine dining and ice cream. His strength and his smile were admirable, as well as his dancing blue eyes, which were donated. He was a former employee of the Binghamton YMCA, and a former employee of the Billiard Room in the State Street Plaza.Memorial Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday at 12 Noon. Rev. Gerald J. Buckley will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Monday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 12 Noon. No flowers, please; a donation to the America Heart Assoc., 59 Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13902, would be a caring gesture.
