<!-- FH = Asheville Area Alternative --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->William "Bill" M. NoonanAlexander - William "Bill" M. Noonan, 62, of Alexander, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 3, 2014. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of the late William J. and Dorothy A. Wesser Noonan. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy M. Noonan. He was employed at Balcrank in Weaverville for thirty years where he was a valued colleague and friend. He had a love for music, especially classic rock and the oldies. He also enjoyed outdoors, reading, and family gatherings. He is survived by his loving wife Joan, of 37 years; son, Zachary; sister, Kathy O'Mara; brother, Kevin Noonan; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 15, at the Basilica of St. Lawrence. Father C. Morris Boyd will be officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at their home. His heart, humor and good nature will be forever missed and will live forever in our hearts and memory.
