MORRISON, William Ronald (Ron) January 1, 1930 - October 12, 2009 On Monday, October 12, 2009, Ron Morrison passed away at the age of 79 years after a short battle with cancer. Ron is survived by his five sons, Tim (Roxanne), Mack (Suzy), Mitch (Eileen), Dugald (Janet) and Duncan (Christine); grandsons Ian and Devlin; sister Ray (George) Fox; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ron was predeceased by his wife June; parents William Donald and Christina Marguerite Morrison; brother Donald MacKenzie and sister Anna June Hosford. A most sincere thank you to the staff at the Norwood Palliative Care Centre for keeping Ron comfortable and tending to his every need during his final days. At Ron's request, a funeral service will be not be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
