PORTLAND - William M. Bailey Sr., 57, lifelong resident of Portland died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.     He was born Dec. 26, 1947 in Portland a son of Stanley and Nancy (White) Bailey. He was educated in Portland and graduated from Deering High School with the Class of 1966. Mr. Bailey received an Associates Degree in business management from Westbrook College and also received an Associates Degree in building construction from Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute.     He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.     Mr. Bailey was most recently employed at the Brockway-Smith Company of Portland as a skilled craftsman where he has been employed for over 31 years.     He enjoyed woodworking and was proud of his vegetable garden that he grew each year. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered by all that knew him as a true family man.     Besides his mother of Scarborough, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah (Seavey) Bailey of Portland; two sons, William M. Bailey Jr. of Standish, and David S. Bailey of Gray; a daughter, Karyn M. Bailey of Joppa, Md.; two sisters, Ann M. Farr of Milford, N.H., and Betsy G. Hamm of Scarborough; a brother, Robert A. Bailey of Scarborough; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.     Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18with the Rev.
