LEE William M. "Bill", age 94, of Springfield, NJ, formerly of Paterson, NJ and Suffern, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Helen J. (nee Lefkowitz) Lee, devoted father of Judith L. Gulko and her husband Edward, Jeffrey M. Lee and Janet L. Williams and her husband David, cherished grandfather of Jay and Alexa Williams. Bill was a graduate of William Paterson State College, where he earned his Bachelors degree in education and was also a graduate of Montclair State University where he earned his Masters degree in education. Bill was a teacher in Paterson and later was the Vice Principal at Quitman Elementary School in Newark, NJ. He was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and a longtime member of the Barnert Temple in Franklin Lakes, NJ, where he served as principal of the religious school during the 1960s. Services will be 1:30 PM today at Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West), Fair Lawn, NJ. Burial will follow at Mount Nebo Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
