SMITH, William Lee "Billy", 68, of Wachula, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006, in Sarasota. He was born January 15, 1938, in Wachula, to William L. and Ruby North Smith. Billy, was an avid bowler, member of the Heartland Flying Club, and a member of the National Guard. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Smith; his son, William "Bubba" Smith and wife, Ami of Wachula; two daughters, Lynn Smith Ward of Greensboro, Fla. and Kim Smith Mann of Sebring; six grandchildren, Candy Ward Lemieux and Kati Ward Phillips of Chattahoochee, Fla., Jami Ward of Telogia, Fla, Robbie Smith of Wauchula, Benji Benchina and Brandy Benchina both of Sebring and four great-grandchildren, Kayla and Dustin Lemieux, Gage Phillips and Emory Watson. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2006, at Brant Funeral Chapel Funeral.
