MACPHEE, WILLIAM "BILL" LAWRENCE At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 27, 2008, William "Bill" MacPhee of Fredericton passed away at the age of 76. Born in Halifax, NS, he was a son of the late Charles and Aletha (Christian) MacPhee. Bill was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces, drove bus for Fredericton City Transit for fourteen years, was a member of the Atlantic Gunners Association, and former President of the Fredericton Korea Veterans Association. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Betty and her children Robert McLeod (Angela Kelly) of Windsor NS, Karen McLeod (Randy Johnston) of Fredericton, Scott McLeod and his son Dustin Estey of Fredericton as well as another grandchild, Johanna Lake (John) of Bangor, Maine; great- granddaughter Katherine Lake; his children, Shane MacPhee (Cheryl), Chris MacPhee, Cindy White (Tim), all of Nova Scotia; several other grand and great-grandchildren; sister Catherine Slaunwhite of Halifax NS; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Cheryl Mills; son, Richard MacPhee; brothers, Ivan and Donald MacPhee. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday April 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. H. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
