NORTH GREENBUSH William L. Blom, 76, of Shepherd Drive, died Monday, October 23, 2006, at Heritage House Nursing Center in Troy after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William Blom and Hazel (Burnap) Blom and husband for 52 years of Susanne Sibbald Blom. Survivors in addition to his devoted wife include his three loving daughters, Lisa S. Turnbull of Albany, Diane E. Kelly (Donald) of North Greenbush, Sheryl L. Martucci (Ricky) of Wynantskill; a brother, Lowell Blom (Marilyn) of Troy; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Kristin Kirk and Amanda and Cody Martucci; a cousin, Doris DesLauriers of Troy; two nieces, Karen Kim (William) and Linda Johnson (Heath); a nephew, William L. Blom; a grandnephew and grandniece, Andrew Kim and Haylee Johnson. Funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. at the Christ Church United Methodist, 35 State Street, Troy.
