William-John-Robinson III, born in 1946, spouse of Jacqueline-Lyons Robinson, father of Arkansas and Jennifer L, died on August 20, 2004 at 58 years old.
-> Moss Creek - Bill Robinson, 58, died Friday, August 20, 2004 at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, PA, he is the son of Arline Landis Robinson of Lancaster and the late William John Robinson, Jr. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 1972. He was an Army Captain, Airborne Ranger and Company Commander who served in Viet Nam. After Viet Nam he was at Ft. Benning, GA for two years where he was TV Producer/ Director at the Infantry School. In 1972 he came to Hilton Head Island to head up the internal video department for Sea Pines, working with Charles Fraser. In 1974 he left Sca Pines and was one of the founders of TRI-COMM Productions, Inc. In 1992 he formed First Vision Group/ TRI- COMM Productions. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Lyons Robinson; his sister, Susan R. McKnight of Weatherford, Texas; and his niece and god-daughter, Jennifer L. Johnston of Marion, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28 at 1 p.m. at The Island Funeral Home and Crematory, 4 Cardinal Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 20 Palmetto Parkway, Suite 104, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926.
