McCOLLUM, William "Bill" JamesMarch 16, 1920 - December 1, 2013Bill McCollum of Edmonton passed away peacefully at 93 years. He was born in Toronto, one of four children of James and Etta McCollum. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and was very proud of serving his country. Bill and Madge were married on June 5, 1943 in Toronto and enjoyed 70 wonderful years of marriage. Bill, a gentleman to the core, lived a life of integrity and service. He was a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge for over 64 years. Bill's pride and joy was his family. He will be lovingly remembered by Madge, his children and their partners: Brenda (Ernie), Bruce (Linda); grandchildren: Brian (Lenore), Paul (Toni), Leanne, Ashley, Morgan; great-granddaughters: Sydney, Jordyn, April; nieces and nephews: Sue (Barry), Graham (Shelley), Cam (Nancy), Janice (George), Pat (Mel); sister-in-law, Ann McCollum; Ashley and Morgan's mother, Karen; Brian, Paul and Leanne's father, Art.Our family appreciates the caring staff on Station 54 Grey Nuns Hospital and the Devonshire Care Centre. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
