William J. Garvey 1937 - 2013 CROSSVILLE, TN - William Joseph "Wild Bill" Garvey, age 75, of Crossville, TN, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. He was born June 30, 1937 in Springfield, MA, son of the late Patrick Sylvester & Mary Louise (Monty) Garvey. Mr. Garvey was retired from Civil Service and affiliated with the Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army and United States Air Force. He was an active member in the Elks Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. He was an avid Karaoke singer, chess player and a food enthusiast.He is survived by his children, Kathleen, Rhonda, Sharon, Daniel and step-children, Jamie & Glinis. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Patricia (Davis) Garvey and sister, Kathleen Garvey. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, June 08, 2013 at 3:00 PM.
