William H. Patrie, 94, Sarasota, died April 6, 2005. He was born July 17, 1910, in Shelby, Ohio, and came to Sarasota in 1982 from Dayton, Ohio. He retired from General Motors as a supervisor in the appliance industry and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Pine Shores Presbyterian Church. Survivors include daughters Judith Vaughn of Centerville, Ohio, and Barbara Farrington of Springwater, N.Y.; stepdaughters Melissa Gunlock and Carole Gunlock, both of Sarasota; a sister, Pat Korte of Dayton; brothers Jim of Centerville and Harry of Celina, Ohio; six grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be later. National Cremation Society, Sarasota, is in charge.
