William H. Bell Sr., 69, died on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, in Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Funeral is on Friday at 10 a.m. in Bethel Baptist Church, 539 Trinity Place, Westfield. Viewing is on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Brown's Funeral Home, 122 Plainfield Ave., Plainfield. Interment is in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J. He was a 1958 graduate of Westfield High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime. Mr. Bell was a physical therapist at Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County in Berkeley Heights for 37 years, retiring in 2002. Surviving are his wife, Ann Bell; two sons, William H. Bell Jr. (Doris) and Warren Bell (Joy); two daughters, Genea I. and Maya Bell; nine grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Russell, and a brother, Edward Lee Bell, Jr. (Margaret).
