MANNING, William Donald - Peacefully at his home in Beaverton on Sunday, July 15, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Bill in his 76th year leaves behind his beloved wife and soul mate Mary Lou Robillard, his son Don (Sandra) Manning, his daughter Maureen Manning and his two step-daughters Denise (Trevor) Wright and Rochelle (Greg) Sloan. Wonderful grandpa to Brad, Jeff and Chris Manning and Krystal and Carly Wright and special papa to Jessica Sloan. He also leaves his constant companion Dakota. Bill retired from the City of Oshawa in 1996 after 37 years and began a successful second career as a Registered Reflexologist. The family will receive friends at the Mangan Funeral Home, 332 Osborne Street, Beaverton (705-426-5777), on Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 383 Osborne Street, Beaverton, on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment St. James Cemetery, Colgan, Ontario, on Thursday at 4 p.m. If so desired, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church or the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
