Wall, William David ALBANY William David Wall entered eternal rest on October 20, 2011. He was born in Albany on October 22, 1953 and was educated in the Albany Public School System. He graduated from Albany High in 1971. He spent time in the U.S. Coast Guard. During his junior high and high school years her ran track and at one time held the record for the 440 in New York State. Before a serious back injury sidelined him, he was self-employed as a driver/owner of a car service. He also worked as a photographer. Survived by mother Mattie Oates; father, late William David Walls; sister Rita Walker; brothers Benjamin Nixon Jr. and the late Clyde Randall Nixon; nieces Kenya Walker and Angela Walker and Jasmin Nixon; fiance Flo Powell and many friends. Funeral service today, noon, at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Ave. Viewing, 10 a.m. to noon. Interment, Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery.
