BRYKS, William (Bill) Michael 1913 - 2004 Bill Bryks of Fort Saskatchewan passed away on March 27, 2003 at the age of 90 years. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Eileen in 1981, and is lovingly remembered by his children, Marlene (Michael) Marianicz, Donna (Ian) Johnstone and Kathy (Peter) McLelland; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Linda (Don) Lauweryssen, Elaine and Brant; Lee (Karen) Marianicz, Nikolai and Anjelica; and Lori Mariancz; Carie (Andy) Jardine, Julie Johnstone, and Trevor Johnstone; Chris, Mark, and Scott McLelland; and his sister, Margaret Saari, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was also predeceased by his parents, Michael and Maria; sister, Catherine (Kay) and two brothers, Edward and Andrew. As a young man in Lamont, Alberta, Bill was an outstanding athlete, excelling in baseball and hockey. He was a devoted family man, marrying Eileen in 1942 and raising their daughters while farming in Skaro and Fort Saskatchewan. Following his retirement, Bill and Eileen pursued their award-winning love of gardening, sharing many long hours together. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Right Reverend Victor Lakusta officiating.
