MONTGOMERY, WILLIAM AUGUSTINE, 87, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the Health Center at The Forum at Brookside. He retired as captain in the U.S. Coast Guard, was a veteran of the Navy and of World War II, and captained commercial ships around the globe for U.S. Lines. He was born in Cambridge, MA, on October 26, 1918. He was a 1939 graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an avid fisherman, boater and wood carver. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Kathleen Sharp; two daughters, Barbara Montgomery Adams (James) of Louisville and Diane Miragliotta (John) of Odessa, FL; and six grandchildren, Bryan Cornell, Allison Cornell and Mark Miragliotta all of Odessa and Samuel Adams, Kathleen Adams and Claire Adams, all of Louisville.
