WILLIAM "BILL" ASBURY JORDAN, 57Naval Veteran LAKELAND - William "Bill" Asbury Jordan, 57 of Lakeland, died Saturday July 31, 2010 due to throat cancer. Bill was born June 6, 1953 in Miami and moved to Lakeland in 2009 coming from north Florida. Bill is a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Jordan and step-father, Rex Howell. Bill is survived by his mother, Martha (Marcie) Howell and his brother, Lawrence Jordan who both reside in Lakeland. Friends will be received between 2:30 - 3:00 pm Thursday at Lakeside Baptist Church where memorial services will be held that day at 3 pm.
