Davis was a native of Rosehill, AL and was retired from St. Regis Paper Company, where he worked as a lab technician.He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Myrtis Davis; three brothers; and one half-brother.Survivors include his son, James (Betty) Davis of the Whitfield Community in Milton; daughters, Ola M. (James) Tucker of Pea Ridge and Nellie F. (Wayne) Bynum of Pace; step-daughter, Jeanette (Jerry) Weaver of Booneville, AL; brother, Kent Davis of Rosehill, AL; one half-brother; three half-sisters; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Whitfield Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Wayne Bynum and the Rev. Joe Gillman officiating.Interment will be in Whitfield Cemetery in Milton.Pallbearers will be Mr. Davis's grandsons.Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel.FLOMATON FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
