<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Dec. 22, 1939 - July 17, 2014 Wilbert Earl Parker, 74, of Harvest, passed Thursday, July 17th at Crestwood Hospital. Wilbert was a graduate of Alabama A&M University and employed by General Motors for over 40 years. Survivors include: his wife, Edna Ruth Parker; daughter, Ialantha Ellice Parker, Richmond, VA; brother: Ozzie Lee Lindsey of San Diego, CA; God-daughters: Lesley, Cherae and Chantae Ragland, Baltimore, MD; aunt: Minnie Dubose, Mobile, AL; sisters-in-law: Eddie M. Banks, Florence, AL; Ellaphine Ragland, Huntsville, AL; Patricia Parker, and Violet (Tommy) Grant, Florence, AL; brother-in-law: Ricky (Joyce) Ragland, Florence, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Thursday, July 24th, at the Royal Chapel. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 25th, at Union Chapel M.B. Church with Dr. O. Wendell Davis officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mr. Parker will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
