Enderson 1922-2013In the early morning of October 10, 2013 Wesley H Enderson passed away at the Salem Veterans Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia at the age of 91. Wesley was a strong and often stubborn loving man who loved life. He made his family and friends laugh and smile with his sly humor. He wanted the best for his family and always showed concern for those he loved dearly. He had a passion for NASCAR, Mustangs, football, and his morning paper. Born on May 4, 1922 in Ripley Tennessee, Wesley grew up in the mountains of Tennessee where he met his first love and wife Lillian. He served his country in the US Army 385th Infantry Regiment, 76th Infantry Division in Central Europe 1945-1946. After the war he ran a restaurant in Paris, Tennessee which is still in operation. Wesley then joined the Louisville Nashville Railroad where he worked until retirement. Lillian and Wesley had 8 children which they raised in Pensacola, Florida until her death in 1969. He then married Geraldine Enderson and lived a happy life together in Pace, Florida until her death in 2006. Wesley spent his last years in Roanoke, VA but has come home to rest in Florida.Wesley is survived by his children - son Wesley and Linda Enderson; daughter Linda Kaye and Roger Zelinsky, daughter Patricia and David Lesniak, Son Joel and Mary Enderson, Son Terry and Rita Enderson, daughter Janie and Ozzie Christian, as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife Lillian, wife Geraldine, and son John Enderson. Services will be held at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, FL on Tuesday, October 15th at 11:00am.
