Wendy Sillitoe Miller PITTSFORD - Wendy Sillitoe Miller, passed away suddenly, on Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was predeceased by her niece, Lauren Sillitoe. Wendy was the loving wife of Gene; nurturing mother to Kim (Rick) Wilborn, Brian (Linda), Scott (Alison) and Kevin (Jenn) Miller; devoted grandmother to Daniel, Emily, Abbey, Cate, Brendan and Jason; loyal sister to Rick (Karen) Sillitoe; and also had countless friends. Wendy and Gene met at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. They married June 20, 1964 at Brighton Presbyterian Church, where she later served as an elder, deacon and trustee. They raised four children in Pittsford, and engaged in 30 years of youth ministry at Punky Hollow Farm, East Springwater, N.Y. Wendy was a selfless, gentle spirit who above all else personified love. She was sent from heaven to be an angel in our midst. She will be remembered for her love for her husband, love for her children and grandchildren, love for her friends, love for this land and for all people. Wendy's legacy will live forever and her quick wit and zest for life will be treasured memories. She is free from the burdens and cares of this world which she bore so lightly and is at peace with her Lord. Friends may call Tuesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Chapel, 2305 Monroe Ave. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford-Palmyra Road.
