MILLER, Wendy Doris (nee Toth)December 25, 1947 - July 25, 2012Wendy Doris Miller (nee Toth), beloved wife of Angus Miller of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the age of 64 years at the Rockyview General Hospital. She was receiving treatment for dementia the last three weeks until her passing which is deemed an accident. Wendy was born on December 25, 1947 in Welland, Ontario to loving parents, Stephen and Doris Toth. The family then moved to Regina where Wendy grew up and went to school. Wendy worked at various jobs before she found what she loved doing, medical transcription. She worked for Alberta Health Services at Holy Cross, the Old Children's Hospital, and then lastly at the south tower of the Foothills Medical Centre and did this for twenty-three years. Her interests were going cruising, taking road trips to Las Vegas and doing needle work. She also enjoyed going to Scotland to see her husband's home and family. Wendy was kind and loving. She was also a giving person. Wendy was reserved in her ways which some people took the wrong way. She enjoyed life and living the condo life in Horizon Village Sandstone where she made many friends. Besides her loving husband, Angus (Gussie), Wendy is survived by her loving cat, Sheba, who misses her; her older brother, Brian Toth and his wife Florence of Calgary; her younger brother, Bob Toth and his wife Nona of Vernon, BC; two nephews, Robbie Toth of Vernon, BC and Kent Toth and his wife Stephanie of Calgary; and one niece, Kylee Ohler and her husband Ben of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Bruce Miller and his wife Liz of Edinburgh, Scotland; and one nephew and two nieces in Scotland. Wendy was predeceased by her parents Steve and Doris Toth of Vernon, B.C. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
