Rinker MaterialsCLERMONT -- Mr. Wayne Peters, of Clermont, died of cancer Friday (Dec. 6, 2002). He was 63.Born Aug. 20, 1939 in Whitman, Mass., he came here in 1999 from Fort Lauderdale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the National Guard. He was a supervisor for Rinker Materials in Fort Lauderdale. He was a member of Winter Haven Baptist Church.Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, Allie; mother, Marion Peters, Haines City; daughters, Anita Simpkins, Clermont; Tina Snodgrass, Hudson; Betty Weaver, Fayetteville, N.C.; brothers, Stanford Peters, Davenport; Jim Peters, Ruskin; sister, Geraldine Urbankin, Salem, Conn.; and nine grandchildren.Services will be at Winter Haven Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
