Wayne B. Anderson, 73, of Inverness, formerly of Brockton, Mass., died in his home in Florida May 13. Son of the late Mary L. (Brennan) (Anderson) Santiano and Everett L. Anderson and stepson of the late Henry Santiano, he was born and raised in Brockton and attended Brockton schools. Wayne worked for Batco Transmission as a mechanic in Brockton for many years. He also worked for Hal Green Chevrolet in San Clemente, Calif., where he lived for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed riding his Harley and had a passion for fishing and boating. He is survived by his children, Lynn (Anderson) Kunz and her husband Brian of Bridgewater, Mass., Steven and his wife Filomena of Stoughton, Mass., Holly (Anderson) Wilson and her husband Eric of Whitman, Mass., and Wayne of Bridgewater. He also leaves his brothers, Everett Anderson of Arizona, Thomas Santiano of North Easton, Mass.; and a sister, Patricia Rand of California. Wayne is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his aunt, Marie Jordan of Brockton. Wayne was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela MacLean, his grandson, Peter MacLean, and his brother, Henry Santiano. Memorial service to be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m., in the Melrose Cemetery for Wayne and his brother Henry, who passed away in January of this year.
