Warren Henry Parker, age 80, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness.Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. A graveside service will be Thursday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. at Greenview Memorial Park, with Brother Greg Woodall and Brother Steven Whatley officiating. Interment will follow.Pallbearers will be Gary Parker, Mike Parker, Allen Parker, Michael Parker, Dustin Parker and Charlie Parker. Honorary bearers will be Chris Martin and Michael Smith.Mr. Parker was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education. He was born in Waterloo, the son of the late Billy and Lillian Parker.He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Parker, of Florence.Survivors include sons, Gary Parker and wife, Lisa, of Harrodsburg, Ky., Mike Parker and wife, Linda, of Florence, Ala., Allen Parker and wife, Tina, of Florence, Ala.; daughters, Greta and Kim Parker, of Florence, Ala., Nancy Whatley and husband, Steve, of Amite, La.; Lou Parker, mother of his children; daughter-in-law, Renee Parker; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Garland Parker, of Florence; sister, Jimmie Nell Spivey, of Ringgold, Ga.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ludene Crafton, 104 S.
