BREWER - Wanda Williams, 60, died March 8, 2012, surrounded by loved ones at her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1951, in Ellsworth, daughter of Steven and Dorothy Lindsay. Wanda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, doing puzzles, going for long rides, shopping and taking care of her cat, Ally. Wanda is survived by her son, Charles Rankin and his wife, Shannon, and her beloved granddaughters, Skye and Blake, of Prospect, Conn.; son, Steve Rankin of Green Lake; best friend, Mary Belanger of Bass Harbor and longtime partner, Keith Rowe, of Brewer; brothers, Sandy Lindsay and Danny Lindsay of Ellsworth; several nieces and nephews. A private celebration of Wanda's life will be held by family and friends. Those who wish to remember Wanda may make gifts in her memory to St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor, ME 04401.
