Collins, WandaWanda Collins, age 52, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Monday, August 13, 2012 at St. Vincent 's Hospital. Born in Vidalia , GA she was a life long resident of Bridgeport . She was educated in the Bridgeport public school and graduated from Central High School . Wanda was employed with First Student Transportation Services for twelve years. She was predeceased by her father, William Collins, sister, Stephanie L. Collins, grandparents Willie L and Lee Alice Phillips. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Toshiera Collins; grandson, Ja´cier Smith, mother, Catherine Ivey Collins; step father, Douglas Goosby, brother, Rodney (Darlene) Bowens; sister, Terra Collins all of Bridgeport; sister, Dr. Francene (Leslie) Patterson of VA; in addition, she leaves her step grandmother, Yvonne Phillips, a long time companion, Raymond Jeffries and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at First Baptist Church of Stratford, 1301 Stratford Ave. , Stratford with Dr. William B. Sutton, III, Pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Grove Cemetery , Easton , CT , following the service. Friends are invited to the viewing Friday from 9-11 AM at the church. Morton's Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E.
