Obituary of Wanda-A. Carter

Wanda A. Carter, 75, formerly of Lees Lane in Louisville, died Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at Indian Creek Health Rehabilitation Center in Corydon, IN. She was the former Wanda Whitmer and a native of Muhlenburg County, KY. She retired from Jefferson County Food Service after 25 years at Western High School. She was a member of the Carroll County Homemakers and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Timothy Carter; daughter, Regina Stewart; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-South-west, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Mt.
