Walton Charles Todd died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a native and life long resident of Evans County. He was preceded in death by his wife Louisa Todd and his parents Charlie and Minnie Ree Todd. SURVIVORS: One son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Melissa Todd of Claxton; one daughter, Laura Todd of Claxton; one brother, Ray Todd of Claxton; six sisters, Jeanette Massey, Faye Williams, Shirley Richey, Sandra Dasher, Marie Kessler, Charlene Todd, all of Claxton; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Jacob Todd of Claxton and several nieces and nephews. VISITATION: Monday, July 9, 2007, at 6 p.m. until at J. Mellie Nesmith Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 2 p.m. at J. Mellie Nesmith Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Carlton Allen and the Rev. Curt Bacon officiating. BURIAL: Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Pallbearers: Donny Sikes, Ronald Smith, T.J. Mercer, Will Rogers, Jason Hampton and Matt Phillips.
