ANDERSON, Walter WilliamMarch 24, 1920 - January 13, 2012Walter is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Katherina, his daughters Donna (Dennis) and Joan (Garry), grandchildren Michelle (Kris), Stephanie, David and Christine, sister Hilma, his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed his long morning walks, gardening, woodworking projects, reading and travel. Walter was devoted to his family and the way he treated people and lived his life inspires us. A Memorial Service to honour Walter's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20th at the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C. with a reception to follow. The family would like to sincerely thank the kind and caring staff at the St. Michael's Hospice Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
