JOHNSTON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Walter Lee Johnson will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Lloyd, Pastor, officiating. Eulogist will be the Rev. Charles Frazier. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Johnston, S.C. He spent more than 30 years serving his country. Survivors include: his wife, Loretta Johnson of the home; his mother, Sallie Mae Cannon, Batesburg, S.C.; two sons, Latreyco (Nakesha) McKinney, Kiplang Mckinney; two daughters, Shikena (Derrick) McKinney and Tasia McKinney, all of Johnston, S.C.; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Ray (Essie Mae) Johnson, Lexington, S.C., Charles L. Johnson and Clyde Edward Johnson, both of Lexington, S.C.; stepbrothers, J.T. Cannon and Jammie Cannon, Michael Cannon, all of Batesburg, S.C., Jeffery Cannon, North Augusta, S.C.; step sisters, Betty J. (Walter) Sujict, Nellie Mae (Lonnie) Hill, Batesburg, S.C., Mary Lee (Donald) Holmes, New Haven, Conn., Mary Ruth Johnson, Leesville, S.C., Teresa Johnson, New Haven, Conn.; seven sisters-in-laws, three brothers-in-law; three aunts; and a uncle.
