HENDERSON _ Walter Wilbert; born July 10, 1918 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, passed peacefully December 17, 2003 in Surrey Memorial Hospital. He is lovingly remembered and will be forever missed by his wife of 62 years, Beatrice; 3 daughters Irene (Archie) Nordick of Watson, Saskatchewan, Gladys (Frank) O'Neill of Brampton, Ontario, Diane (Morris) Dmytryshyn of Calgary, Alberta; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; Sister Hazel (Dave) Yeoman; brother Owen (Bev); and sister-in-law Dorothy Henderson. Predeceased by his sister Sylvia, brother Bruce and son-in-law Bob Pierpont. Walter and Bea farmed in Spalding, Saskatchewan until moving to Surrey in 1960. After 20 years at Noranda Copper Mill they retired in Surrey. A funeral service will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC. on Monday, December 22, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
