<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Walter Going AndersonClearwater, FLWalter Going Anderson, 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in Clearwater, FL, surrounded by family.Born in Greenville, SC, on May 31, 1948, he was the son of Ethel Bernice Anderson DuBose and the late Waddy McFall Anderson, Jr.A graduate of Lees McCrae College, Walt retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in 1982. For the last 25 years, he pursued a peaceful life on his boat in Florida.He is survived by his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Anderson; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Watkins; a sister and brother-in-law, Cretia and Art Tackman; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Judy Anderson, and Waddy and June Anderson; brother, Charles Anderson; and nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be conducted at 3:30pm on Sunday, November 3 in the chapel at First Baptist Greenville, 847 Cleveland St. Visitation will take place from 2:00-3:15pm outside the chapel, preceding the service.The family will receive friends at the home of Amy Anderson after the service.Memorials made be made to National Public Radio (www.npr.org) or Suncoast Hospice (www.thehospice.org/Donate).
