T. Wade Smith, 71, of 318 Pendleton St., husband of the late Robbie Jean Crowe Smith, died Monday, May 23, 2005, at his home.Mr. Smith was born in Oconee County, son of the late Arvil and Frances Nix Smith. He was retired from Woodside Mill in Liberty and was later employed with his son at Smith Automotive in Pickens. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.Surviving are two sons, Thomas V. Smith and his wife, Sue, of Pickens, and Bobby Joe Smith and his wife, Nancy, of Pickens; four grandchildren, Christopher T. Smith and his wife, Amy, Amanda G. Smith, Jacob Wade Smith and Jeana L. Smith, all of Pickens; two great-grandchildren, Garret and Grant Smith; and a sister, JoAnn Craft of Greenville.Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, by Rev. Jack Mahaffey and Rev. Danny Parton. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt.
