JOHNSON, WILMA E. MRS. WILMA E. JOHNSON of Cross City passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Tri-County Nursing Home in Fanning Springs. She was 98. Mrs. Johnson was born on January 28, 1913 in Lafayette County, Florida to Daniel and Ruby Wimberley. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross City where she was a member of the WMU, Sunday School and the Homebound Ministry. She is survived by her brother, Wilbur Wimberley of Cross City; sister, Louise Ervin of Bartow, Florida and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby McRae officiating. Interment will follow at Cross City Cemetery.
