Services for Willie Mae Smith 82 will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Ms. Smith retired from the Madison County Health Department died of heart disease Friday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Zeddie Smith. Survivors include three sisters Christine King of Ripley and Mittie Ann Campbell and Elsrine Theus both of the Jackson; and two brothers Arthur Linear and Charles Linear both of St. Louis.
