WADE, Willie Mae Cox, 88, a resident of Tuskegee Institute, AL, died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery, AL after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. from the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend John L. Cantelow, III, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with The Peoples Funeral Home directing. Survivors include: five nieces, Albeda Hightower, Alberta Wilson, New York, NY, Evelyn Russell, Arlington, VA, Irma McLemore and Lona Mae Echols, Birmingham, AL; eight grand-nieces; six grand-nephews; six great grand-nieces; ten great grand-nephews; one cousin, Georgia T. Leftridge, Chicago, IL; one step-daughter, Pinkye R. Wade, Tuscaloosa, AL; one step-granddaughter, Paula Wade, Tuscaloosa, AL; other relatives and dear friends; and her Kellogg Conference Center Family. Viewing will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Family Hour from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the Chapel of The Peoples Funeral Home.
