Dr. William Woodward, a former teacher, coach and administrator at Suffern High School, passed away on July 24. He was born July 2, 1932 and began working at Suffern in 1958, becoming Assistant Principal at the school in 1965 until his retirement in 1987. Dr. Woodward then lived and taught at the University of Rhode Island until 1999 and authored two books before his death. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Wickford, RI.
