STEWART, WILLIAM EDWARD, age 81, of Highland Avenue, Apopka, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2002. Mr. Stewart was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Apopka and Corporal in the US Army and served during WWII. Born in Ta, Florida he moved to Apopka in 1924. He is survived by his wife, Grace; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and Billy Spears of Apopka, Susan and Barry Smith of Longwood, and Debbie and Bill Layman of Apopka; and grandchildren, Jason Smith of McKinney, TX, Justin Smith of Daytona Beach, Joshua Smith of Longwood, and Leslie Caple of Apopka. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at 10am at the Apopka Chapel with Pastor Dee McGuire officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
