Jordan, William E. CLIFTON PARK William E. Jordan, 85, of Madrid Court, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. He was born on September 14, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tenn. the son of the late Shelah and Cecile Crow Jordan. William was educated at the Pennsylvania Military College, where he received his bachelor's degree in engineering. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 until 1947. William worked as a manager in Product Engineering for General Electric Co. in Schenectady for over 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church. William was the loving husband of Frances Dugan Jordan whom he married on June 10, 1950 and celebrated over 64 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Gail Casals of Johnsonville, William F. (Marcy) Jordan of Kansas City, Mo., and Jeff Jordan of Clifton Park; brother of Doris Munson of Greenville, Tenn. and Margaret White of Havelock, N.C.; grandfather of Brad Anderson (Lauren), Jill Draper (Richard Buckner), Jonathan Draper (Elisabeth), Leanne Wasleski (Mike), Alex Jordan; great-grand-father of Stella Anderson, twins, Jordan and Drake Wasleski and Willa Draper. William is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and family friend, Mery Weeden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road. Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contribution may be made in William's memory to St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park.
