Obituary of William-Charles Morgan


MORGAN, William Charles, a former resident of 401 Dericote Street and resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died suddenly Sunday, October 21, 2001 at a Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Funeral services to be held later this week in Farmington Hills, Michigan. William was the son of the late William James and Ida B. Morgan. William received his spiritual training at Hilliard Chapel AME Zion Church. He was a graduate of Alabama State University (B.S.) specializing in Math; a Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. William was an active church worker and community leader. He retired from the Michigan School System about four years ago. He was a Real Estate Broker, a loving husband, father and brother. Cherishing his fond memories: his wife, Edna Kelly Morgan; daughters, Kelly and Tanisha Morgan, all of Michigan; sisters, Jeanette (George) Penney, Montgomery, AL, Jeraldine T. Morgan, Norcross, Georgia, Joan (Roger) Scales, Paterson, New Jersey; brothers, Rev. George Wesley (Joy) Morgan, Harker Heights, Texas and David (Gwendolyn) Morgan, Decatur, Georgia; a devoted sister-in-law, Lilly Kell (Jimmy) Hall, Farmington Hills, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and great-nieces and nephews.
