KENT, WILLIAM ALFRED age 84 of Pleasant Grove passed away on February 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by his Wife Edna Kent; Son Billy Ray Kent; Parents Alfred and Agnes Kent; Brother George Ray Kent; and Sister Edna Timmons and brother in law Bob Crane. He was a member of the VFW a veteran of the Korean War, served in the US Army from 1950 to 1952 Retired from US Steel after 32 years of service. He is survived by his son James Kent (Denise); granddaughter Christina Kent; sisters Peggy Crane and Virginia Hooper (Allen) and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 pm at Ridout"s Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery visitation will be from 5: 00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening.
