Walter Leon Smith of Mt. Vernon, went home to the Kingdom of God April 26, 2003. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Lelia Smith, two children, Ramon Smith and Shakjuana Murdock; four grandchildren, Latricea Smith, Angela Smith and Malachi Smith, and Mesiah Murdock; two brothers Clay Smith and Fredrick Smith, his sister Veronica Smith, a host of relatives and many beloved friends. Walter's father Edward L. Smith predeceases him. Visitation Thursday 7-9 pm and funeral service Friday 12 noon at Primm Funeral Home, 102 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY.
