W. Gerald LaValle of Scranton, Pa. W. Gerald LaValle, 1508 Summit Pointe, Scranton, Pa., died Wednesday at VNA Hospice at C.M.C. Born in Binghamton, N.Y., to the late Winifred and Robert LaValle. Survived by loving wife, Georgia M. LaValle; daughter, Kim LaValle, San Francisco, Calif.; and son, Kevin LaValle, Palm Bay, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Edward O'Brien, Orchard Park, N.Y.; brother, J. Robert LaValle, Little Meadows, Pa.; a loving extended family, including sisters and brothers-in-law, Char and Fred Merz, Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Irene and Mike Linville, Chenango Bridge, N.Y.; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many supportive friends. Member of Asbury United Methodist Church and its Administrative Board, President of Methodist Men's Group, Air Force Veteran, and retired supervisor at Haddon Craftsmen, Inc. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12 in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home, Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton, Pa., with the Rev. Arthur W. Davis, Pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment, Halsey Cemetery, Long Eddy, N.Y. Friends may call Saturday, 11 a.m. to time of service.
