MERCER, VIVIAN FRANCIS - The death of Vivian Mercer, age 64, wife of Lawrence C. Mercer, of Norton, NB, occurred on July 16, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Verna (Dibblee) Murphy. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Ronald and Dianne Mercer, Lower Hainesville, and Gordon and Gail Mercer, Norton; five grandchildren, Jody Murphy, Katie and Kirk Mercer, Chris, Jason, and Kelsey Richardson; two great-grandchildren, Sierra Murphy and Dameon Richardson; three brothers, Ray and Louise Murphy, Orangeville, ON, Don and Angela Murphy, Norton, and Wayne Murphy, Ottawa, ON; three sisters, Doris and Gordon, Oshawa, ON, Shirley and George Adler, Toronto, ON, and Dianne and Jim Austin, Sarnia, ON; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter. The family will receive visitors at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Norton Wesleyan Church, at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, July 20, 2007.
